A few things worth knowing
Why Toolcape if my AI already supports MCP?
Many AI clients can connect directly to MCP servers. Toolcape brings the connections, operation permissions and audit trail together in one place. Manage what each person and group may do across the systems you connect. The provider’s own access rules still apply.
Does every system need its own MCP server?
No. A system with a suitable API can be connected to Toolcape and made available to AI through MCP. An API is the interface other software uses to read information or perform actions in that system. You choose which API operations your team may use. The connection needs to be configured for that API.
Do I need to switch AI tools?
No. Toolcape connects to AI clients that support MCP. The setup and available features depend on the client you use.
Can everyone use everything?
No. Workspace membership and tool access are separate. An administrator decides which actions each member may use.
Where do I connect my accounts?
After signing in, open My connections. The public catalog lets you explore the integrations before you have an account.
