Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 September 2026

Dyst AS (org. no. 934 222 946, "Dyst", "we") is the data controller for personal data collected through toolcape.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what rights you have.

1. What we collect

Waitlist: When you request early access we store your name, work email and company, and what you would like to use Toolcape for if you tell us. We also store the language you used and the time of registration.

Security: To stop automated signups, the form has a hidden field that people do not see, and we accept a limited number of signups per hour. We do not store your IP address with your registration.

Your browser: The language is part of the page address. The website sets no cookies of its own for tracking or marketing. Cloudflare, which protects and serves the website, may set technical cookies.

2. Why, and on what basis

We use the data to follow up your interest, tell you when early access opens and prepare the setup for your team. The basis is the consent you give when you submit the form. The form explains what we store and links here before you send it (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Security measures, troubleshooting and abuse prevention rest on our legitimate interest in running the website safely (Article 6(1)(f)).

3. Who we share with

We do not sell personal data. We use processors that handle data on our behalf: Postmark for sending email, and Cloudflare for security and delivery of the website. The website and database run on servers controlled by Dyst. When you register, the people who follow up the waitlist receive an email notification with the details you submitted.

Some providers process data outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

4. How long we keep it

Your waitlist registration is kept until you ask us to delete it, or until early access has ended and the data is no longer needed.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or your local supervisory authority.

6. Security

Data is transferred encrypted and stored in systems with access control. Access is limited to the people who need it to follow up your registration.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes are announced on the website.
